Discover the power of virtual reality as an enhancement to Holocaust education through 360-degree immersive technology. Using VR headsets, “walk” with Holocaust Survivors through childhood hometowns and concentration camps as they share their stories of survival, creating an unforgettable experience. This exhibit is changing the field of Holocaust memory through innovative technology and transportive storytelling, creating a new way to learn and discuss the Holocaust.
The Journey Back: A VR Experience will be exhibited at the Library during the following hours from April 1-13:
- Tuesdays: 3:00-5:00
- Wednesdays: 3:00-5:00
- Thursdays: 6:00-7:00
- Saturdays: 11:00-1:00
- Sundays: 2:00-4:00
Please stop by the library or call (914) 232-3508 to sign up for a 45 minute time slot. Viewings start on the hour. Ages 13 and up are welcome to participate.
