Event Details

Come and watch the heart warming story of a half wolf/half dog who is brave and kind hearted despite being considered an outcast.

A diphtheria epidemic strikes the remote town of Nome, Alaska. With the life-saving medicine located hundreds of miles away, the residents decide to send out a sled-dog team. When the other dogs get lost in the snow, Balto risks his life to rescue them and deliver the medicine.

Based on a true story.  To further your adventure, there is a statue dedicated to Balto located in Central Park if you'd like to visit.
