She has been teaching Westchester County residents how to make Chinese dumplings from scratch since 2019. She has attended culinary classes in China and aims to share the authentic flavor of Chinese food with Americans. Prior to her retirement, Aileng worked as a journalist and digital content manager for many years. She volunteers for a few organizations and posts frequently about her culinary creations in Westchester Foodies on Facebook and on Instagram under the name "ailengchoo".
