Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a presentation by hosted The Wolf Conservation Center and Westchester County Executive, Erika Pierce, highlighting the ways to coexist with the various wild animals that share our landscapes. We will talk about eastern coyotes, their history and ecology, and what we can do to best coexist with them and the other wildlife on our trails and in our backyards. There will also be a focus on black bears and bobcats. Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the behavior and benefits of the eastern coyote and how to empower our community with the tools, information, and resources we require to peacefully coexist with this misunderstood predator
