Join Kim at this book club for youth in grades 5-9. We meet in the attic. We’re discussing two books this month, feel free to read just one or both. The books are:

Legend by Marie Lu

  • This dystopian adventure tale features Day and June, two teens from two different worlds. June’s brother is murdered and Day is the prime suspect. June seeks revenge, but is everything as it seems?

Hatchet Girls by Diana Rodriguez Wallach

  • This super-natural horror story is set 100 years after the Lizzie Borden ax murders and imagines what a similar trial might look like today. Parental advisory for violence and gore.
