On view: an exhibition of selected works by Monique Ford & Amy Kupferberg with special ceramics pop-up
during the opening reception by Alicia Brooks with musical performance by Thom O’Brien.
Fire and Form is an exploration of transformation—an elemental dialogue between precision
and surprise, between the crafted and the spontaneous. As three women artists—one working
in clay, one in drawing and one in paint—we each trace a path of beauty from intention to
accident. Here, fire is the spark of potential, and form is the moment it lands—alive, imperfect,
and radiant.

Alicia Brooks is a ceramicist, who drawn to the tension between perfection and disruption. "This balance of control and
chance is where beauty emerges—soft, fleeting, and alive."

Monique Ford paints the female form as an archetype—an icon of strength, spirit, and quiet power. Inspired by
nature, they embody a spiritual presence that speaks beyond form, inviting the viewer
to see the divine in the everyday.

Amy Kupferberg's work is rooted in nostalgia and the alchemy of materials. She creates drawings from upcycled
textiles imbued with memory and time. These ordinary materials become vessels for stories—feminine, resilient, and layered with history.

Musician Thom O’Brien has lived his entire life in two worlds…Music is my fire and architecture is my form. Many of
my songs are about finding home, all of my architecture is about making them.
